Inglemoor Viking Wrestling

The Cavalero JV tournament for Saturday January 21st has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.

With the JV district tournament only a week away we have a short time to make up a lot of wrestling.

Make sure you are doing what you can to stay active.

Stay safe out there.

Northshore School District has already cancelled school as well as all after school activities for tomorrow Tuesday, January 17th.

So the dual meet between Inglemoor and Issaquah will have to be rescheduled.

Details of the rescheduling will be posted as they are made available.

Inglemoor Wrestling Holiday Break Practice Schedule

Optional practices start Monday at 10 am. Practice goes until 11:30. The rest of the schedule for break will be posted soon.

In the first action of the 2011-2012 season the Inglemoor Vikings have a strong showing at the Mariner Holiday Tournament. With both Junior Varsity and Varsity wrestlers getting competition at this tournament there was a lot of great effort shown and some good lessons learned.

Inglemoor had a big round in the semis securing a bunch of pins to help boost their point total and jump them up the team points list.

With six wrestlers in the finals we split 3-3. With Gabe Seward (138), Sam Gastineau (170), and Ben Carson (220) winning the championships in their weight classes. Mark Johnson (182), Josh Koukal (195), and Andrew Stocker (285) had great matches and came off the mat with the silver medal.

All in all it was a great day and a great start to the season. Next up @ Redmond High School on Tuesday 12/6

With the season underway there is a lot of work being done. Expect more updates to follow soon.

One important note to post is that the Dual Meet versus Skyline at Inglemoor has been moved from Thursday December 1st to Tuesday January 10th, 2012.
